Yoga
At Move Animus, we believe in a holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing; to bring us to that all important balance between mind, body and spirit.
Our yoga instructor, Natalia, will take you on a journey of personal growth through the transformative power of yoga.
Natalia’s classes emphasise practicing yoga on the mat as a training ground for your life off the mat.
It's not about 'performing' the poses; we want you to take time to connect with yourself, be present and notice the sensations and feelings that arise within you.
What we offer:
You might be wondering, why yoga? How could it help me?
Does this following scenario sound familiar to you?
The alarm is an unwelcome sound in the morning, you didn’t sleep well again. You glance at your phone to check if you need to respond to anyone before dragging yourself out of bed feeling achy and stiff. You get to work, collapse into your chair and your anxiety levels spike as you review your to-do list for the day. At the end of the day, you realise you’ve spent the whole day at the your desk again (including your lunch break); you leave feeling unaccomplished because you found it hard to focus. You get annoyed by the traffic and terrible drivers on the way home and feel awful when you don’t have the energy to spend quality time with your family and/or friends and instead turn to the comfort of watching TV as an easy way to switch off.
You are not alone, in fact, this is Natalia’s account of how she felt before she discovered yoga.
We are not going to pretend that yoga is going to solve all your problems or reduce the amount of traffic on the road, but it will help you cope with the many challenges described above and otherwise.
A few ways yoga can help you!
The essence of yoga lies in its meaning: 'unity.' It is a path that invites you to connect not only with your body but also with your mind and spirit.
